Kangaroos (not cangaroos) don't hate rainy days their coat is has like an oily defence on it (like most wild animals) where they don't really get wet it doesn't absorb into the fur. so they can stand out in the rain and not get soaked.... I am not to sure if its any different for female kangaroos, because their pouch isn't really in danger to anything. the mums chest sticks out over it shielding it from heat, sun, rain and also keeps the joey (baby kangaroo warm)... So sorry i don't think there is really any answer....

first its spelt Kangaroo. We also sometimes call them Roos or Kangas.

I think that most Kangaroos hate the rain as much as anyone else does.

They can also be very dangerous. They may bite and kick if you go into their terretory.

I would hope that the Brazillian girl that you look after will come to Australia one day and have a look!

Let's say it's because on rainy days, the joey can't go out to play, and has to stay at home.
And because the joey's home is the mother's pouch, she doesn't like rainy days because she doesn't get any relief from carrying her joey around.
Aww...

Kangaroos don't hate rainy days. Their pouches do not hang open so they don't fill up with water.

Their pouches fill up with water (actually, this is not really true, but a 10 yr old might like it)
