I'm getting my senior pictures on the 30th of this month and I need some advice on what to do with my hair. My hair is approximately 3 inches below my shoulders and thin. It's auburn colored and straight.

Let it be. A natural look is so much better for pictures like this. However you wear it on an every day basis is best.

1. If you go all-out for them, you may end up looking like someone else in the final pictures.
2. In a few years, you might say "WTF was I thinking?"
3. Friends and family are used to seeing you one way, they may not appreciate a totally different you.
4. If these pictures are going in a year book (and they usually do), you want people to remember you for who you were, not a one time look.
5. A fancy style will be harder to work with as you take different poses for the shots. It's easier to get a wider variety of looks from a simpler 'do.

Let the pictures reflect who you are, what you look like, and your personality. They shouldn't be something like the glamor studios in the mall produce.

Have fun, be yourself, and they will come out looking fantastic!

Let it dry straight and give it a side part.

Also, don't wear reds or blues, they come off harsh in film.
Practice your smile so you have it perfected beforehand.
Don't wear anything you'll regret in a few years - keep it simple.
And if you have a shiny face, put concealor over your t-zone and under your eyes.

Happy picture taking.

It sounds like you have really pretty hair naturally, I would just leave it down and make sure it's not frizzy
