Baby aspirin. Weigh your dog then call a vet to see how much to give. Does your little poochie pooh have a headache? Oh Sorry I hope he is alright! I just read you additional comment. I'm so so sorry!

A baby aspirin can be ok depending on the size and age of the dog.

NEVER give a dog Tylenol, NEVER.

But before you try to medicate your pet, check with your veterinarian. What you might think are symptoms of pain could be something altogether different. They don't always react to the same things the same way people do.

If he was hit, he needs to see a vet. He could be bleeding internally or have fracture. he needs to be seen by a vet immediately. Most cities have 24-hour emergency veterinarians.

Yes you can! Plain asprin is probably best but tylenol will work. Depending on the dog's size, a little dog just give 1 pill and a big dog 2 about every 4/6hrs as needed for pain. It's alot easier to get them to take the pill if you dequise it in hot dog weiner or a slice of cheese folded up. If it doesn't work just hold dog's mouth open place the pill in the very back of throat ,close mouth and rub the throat while holding mouth shut until they swallow.

I don't think you can because tylenol and asprin a made for people, just check in the back and see if it animal tested to call there number of the company and ask them or maybe they will give you the advice.

I'm not a dog person but I say no. I do know that my vet told me not to give my cats Tylenol or any OTC pain relivers as it destroys the liver and its like a death sentece. So I wouldn't dare do this to a dog either without checking with the vet!!!!

I wasn't going to answer this because so many people already did. Definitely not Tylenol, but aspirin is OK. Make sure it's a buffered or coated aspirin, which is easier on the stomach

And what do do mean, that your dog got hit? By a car, or did someone hit him? I hope it wasn't you who hit the dog.

If anyone hit my dog, they would be the one needing more than an aspirin. NEVER hit an animal It's cruel and should never NEVER be used for any reason whatsoever.

no tylenol, asprins have been given to dog for many years. they will not harm the animal. as far as how to give them. give your dog the same amount as you would take in the same time periods you would.

Do NOT give Tylenol. Aspirin can be used under the orders of a vet - you should not just use it when you please. When your dog got hit, did you take it to the vet? Did they give it anything like Rimadyl, Metacam, Deramaxx for pain/inflammation? If so, you DO NOT want to give aspirin at all! You can't mix those types of medications. Be safe - ask your vet for something for pain.
