Do you mean that color doesn't matter to Jesus, or that His color didn't matter?

Either way the answer is the same, more or less. The imperfect people of this world use color to judge each other and make ourselves superior or inferior to others. Jesus loves all people, and in that sense He does not judge us on color.

The Jewish people were Gods chosen people, so it kind of makes sense that Jesus was born a Jew. He made a way for all of us, white non Jews as well as everyone who isn't white, to become sons and daughters of God.
