Right now, for over a year I have been in a long distance relationship with my girlfriend of three years. I live in Southwest OKie land and she is living in Akron Ohiya. We have been making it work while only seeing each other about 4 times a year. We do this by me having unlimited long distance phone service and her parents having the same. She also has a cell phone for nights. We try and talk at least three times a week depending on our schedules. A lot of the long distance relationship depends on the people. If you are totally committed to each other and have a strong bond than it can work.

If she also loves you too much to let you go, she'll be there when you get that car. The fact that you're within driving distance, hey thats not too long distance. I know a happily married couple of many years whose relationship was countries apart in the beginning. Keep in touch; emails, phonecalls, love-letters, etc. And fill the space inbetween with taking care of yourself so when you do get together you've got quality stuff to offer. I know its hard and It may not be the ideal, but if its real, trust me, it will work out. Good luck!!!

Chances are you are screwed. Keep the lines of communication open and maybe you will have a chance for a real relationship in the future.
