What is the best stirring technique when trying to mix liquids. Is it best to stir constantly in one direction (eg. completely clockwise) or is it best to change directions at random or non-random intervals (eg. switch to counterclockwise after 5 seconds)??

I like to use a whisk when stirring.. I do both.. stir slowlly in one direction for a while.. stop and then in the other.. It really makes no difference you know which way.
