my boyfriends doctor diagnosed him with prostate inflammation. what is this? it seems as if every time he uses the bathroom he loses weight. He was 300 muscular pounds 2 weeks ago and now he 285 pounds "soggy like mayonnaise" what is wrong with him? Is there men who have experienced this same problem? If so it would be very helpful to hear about it and to know what to do.

I've got it. Painful, and it causes his semen to lessen. Antibiotics help, but like with any inflammation, cut out the meat and eat lots of fruits and vegetables.

Prostate and muscle/fat ratio are not related. Not working out causes the soggy look you describe, although it could also be from all the water the Dr. is probably having him drink for his prostate condition.

It's either a bacterial infection or it's excessive tension in the pelvic floor muscles. Doctors will almost always diagnose it as innfection and give antibitotics whether it's an infection or not.
