DONT FREAK OUT, there is hope ! I did the same thing, and used 100 % lanolin oil. You have to search for it though, it comes in a little glass tube. Check online to see where you can order, or buy direct. Forget anything on the shelves right now, they will not work and do what you need them to do, they are NOT made for what you have to deal with, and they cost a fortune. You simply wash your hair, and put a little in your palm, and glide on hair. You can do this wet or dry, plus it gives a nice sheen. Guys used to use this back in the 1960's to get that slick look, another plus is that after time, it makes your hair really really soft. Dont wash, blowdry, or otherwise process your hair when you know you will be home, for like the weekend. You need the natural oils to do damage control. Sounds gross, but the oilier, or "dirtier" your hair is at this time, the better for the natural oil on your scalp to help restructure your hair. You may need to get it trimmed, sounds like it, so might as well get it over with. For the future, there are lots of hair colors that you can use that have no chemicals in them, like Natural Henna, all the natural foods stores sell this product. They have cool colors, without the damage. Stop overprocessing your hair ! Lastly, you may want to get it cut no shorter than an inch all around, there ARE many really short cuts that are cool, grow it out, and start over.

Once it is damaged, there is nothing you can do to fix that bit of hair - hair is dead cells, you can't heal it. The best thing you can do is cut off the damaged parts and stay away from bleach and straighteners!

cut if off, i'm serious. damaged hair to the degree where it breaks as soon as u touch it is unrepairable, u'll waste ur money. stop dying it for a bit, cut the damaged part, and don't consider bleaching ur hair ever again.

hair strands contain amino acids...
so preferable befpre and after a chemical treatment...
do prepare ur hair for it by using a amino-acid shampoo n deep conditioner...
hair is damaged by excessive loss of these amino acids...
u can try a amino-acid based shampoo to try remedy...
if not...
i guess u only have a choice of cutting it or waiting for new ahir to grow...
and of coz...
dun even think abt another chemical treatment in 6 mths at least...
GOOD LUCK!
