I am going up to see my aunt with my brother and my mom but the one thing im nervous about is my love lives up there and i get nervous everytime i see him like one time he came down to spend a day with me while his mom was at a meeting down here they live like four hours away so... and for the first four hours he was here i really wouldn't talk to him that much and im scared that he took that as an offense but he gave me a hug and a kiss on the check before he left so would he have taken that as an offense or does that mean that he really likes me because he wouldn't talk to me either.....

I don't think he would have given you a hug & kiss if he didn't like you or at least was interested. I think you are both a little shy and that it will take a bit of time to feel less awkward discussing things that are important for a good relationship to develop. Take your time and go as slow as you need to feel more relaxed talking and being together. You probly already have alot of things you want to ask him, just wait for one of your quiet times & ask. Well, he gave you a kiss on the cheek. He's being caughtious, but then again, if he's a good few years older than you he might be acting as a cousin might. He also might have a bit of a problem thinking about things to talk to you about. Next time you meet you should try to find out about the things that he likes. Ask questions, lots of them; like what's your fav color, what's your fav music group, do you like to read, do you like to draw, do you like to watch television, etc. He'll tell you about all of these if you ask him, if he doesn't like something he'll tell you why. That way you can find something you both like to talk about. It's really as easy as that. This way you can develope a relationship, even if it's only plutonic at first. Time will tell if it'll bloom. Heck, you might even find out that you don't have much in common, and just aren't able to reach that level. Again, time will tell. Don't be shy, don't be scared, he's a person too, and he's just as self conscious as you are. Give him a reason to talk to you and he'll run with it. We all seem to do that with proficiency. Unless of course he feels comfortable talking to you about certain things. Which he'll just clam up, if he does change the subject with a different question.

I've seen this in a lot of cases, but i didn't think girls were like this as much, too. I'm sure he probably doesn't mind you being untalkitave, though most guys are also very untalitave around girls they love and/or havn't seen in a while. I'm sure you're pretty safe. you probably just need to get used to being around each other again. i've been in this case quite a bit.

He was probably as scared as you were... Thats why he didn't say much... He was waiting for you to start the conversation... He likes you... The fact he was quiet says that he likes you.. Go for it! (but in a good way)
