Well it depends on how you feel really. I love cats,dogs and rabbits. I just have a cat now and he's awesome. He's very playful and hyper. He's such a sweetheart and loves to cuddle. Mostly he likes to be chased around the house. LOL!! All cats are not lazy. They sleep a lot mostly during the daytime because they are nocturnal animals and there's usually no one home to entertain them during the daytime. So it's good for them to have a companion or as with my cat plenty of toys to keep him occupied. The best thing you should do is to maybe spend sometime with your friend's pets or volunteer at an animal shelter or hospital to get a feel of what kind of animal you would want to care for. Just make sure that you educate yourself on as much as you can about that animal and how to properly care for it. It can get expensive too so look up some sites for pet insurance.
