My hair is a little bit below my sholders and it layered.

Down and straightened or curled, or in a half pony. The reason to wear hair down is so that is frames your face, and also, for the pic wear a solid colour shirt without a design or lettering to prevent cutting things out.

On picture day, the best hairstyle is to just let your hair dry naturally, straighten it if you normally do or leave it curly. Then make a side part.
Other good tips:
Don't wear red or blue, as they come off harsh in the picture.
Practice your smile beforehand so that you get it the way you like it.
Don't wear anything you will regret in a few years, keep it simle.
And lastly, if your face is normally shiny, I would suggest putting a concealor over your t-zone and under the bags of your eyes.

My picture day already passed. If I was you, please wear it either straight, or in a nice curled fashion. I think that on picture days, you want to look almost the same you do everyday, other wise you look really "too done." (but put a lil' bit more of effort into it) When straghtning, use a good, but not stiff, hair spray. That way your hair will stay that way until pictures. If you curl, your hair SHOULD stay put, but give a few sprits just for good luck!

Wear it down,with maybe a barette or a clip if you want.Keep it simple,maybe stright depending on your hair kind.

Wear it naturally...if its straight leave it straight, curly leave it curly and so on....then pin back your bangs. I did that for my pics. I think it looks pretty cute.
