Okay I want to try carb cycling and I want to know if this will work.
I am 5'4" and 209.2 lbs.

1. I will eat 1500 calories or less every day
2. I will alternate between high and low carb days, eating 70 carbs on low and 140 carbs on high.
3. I will burn off at least 200 calories everyday.

Do you guys think this will help me lose at least a pound a week? What is realistic for me on this "diet"?

That sounds like a crazy diet. Where'd you get it from? I'm pretty sure if you eat 1500 calories of healthy food (fish, poultry, lean meat, veggies, eggs, whole grains - brown rice and wheat pasta, use olive oil or olive oil cooking spray to cook with, lowfat milk (1%), plain nonfat yogurt, fruit), regardless of carb or protein and exercise a minimum of 4 days a week, for a minimum hour each session. You will lose about a 2 pounds a week. I did and I wasn't even really counting the calories. I'd recommend the weightloss course on the Elliptical machine and throw in some biking and rowing, but try to do things you like. Don't give up if you mess up on your diet or miss workout. Just keeping working towards your goal and you'll get there!

I don't know a lot about the carb cycling actually i have never heard of it. But i my self just make sure i get my exercise Mon thru Fri.I am a fruit person my self. That along with my water intake, even if it is just a sip from my water bottle every half hour through out the day. Has helped me to lose 15 lbs in about 7 weeks. So i am a firm believer that you will get out of your body what you put into it.

Ive heard of this. body builders sometimes do this to get rid of fat before a comp. without losing muscle. The plans I have seen include 1 nearly zero carb day. It works.
