most people would say something like Lubec, Maine, way up onthe coast of Maine almost in Canada --- but it's a trick question, right? and the answer is some town in Alaska that sticks out to the left and crosses the 180th parallel, so it is technically East even though it is west of California by our everyday way of thinking....

I was gonna say somewhere in Hawaii but I'm not sure about that Alaska theory proposed above.
