i believe everyone has a soulmate... long distance relationships can work but are very hard. depends on the strength of both sides-i've seen them both succeed and fail.

If the compatibility is very good and both people are open to the idea, it can work. I was in a 5-year relationship with a man who lived 6,000 miles away. We only got to see each other two or three times a year (for a few weeks at a time), but we talked on the phone each day (usually more than once). We spent more time "together" than most people do in "real" relationships. We had a mental and emotional connection that is very rare to find. It was a surprisingly fulfilling relationship.

Ultimately we didn't stay together, but the reason for that had nothing to do with the long distance. Even now, several years later, I look back on that relationship with very fond memories and no regrets.

Points to consider:
*If the relationship develops into something serious, can either of you relocate? If both of you are locked into your location (because of careers, family obligations, etc.), there could be trouble.

*Can you both handle extended periods of abstinance?

*Can you verify information about this person to make sure he/she isn't just playing a game?

*Do you both feel comfortable not having a "real life" person to do things with for the time being?

A long-distance relationship isn't for everyone, but if you meet someone very special and you both feel comfortable dealing with the logistics, don't rule it out.

I will only tell you my experience: I met a very nice guy 5 years ago (personally) during some vacations i took in another country. I've seen him only twice in these years (after we met) but everytime we see each other, we start it all over again. I still like him (we still talk online) and think about him more than I can say with words, but i know that he won't leave his life to be with me. Sad but true.

Success is a very relative qualifier.
I met a man I really fell in love with, and he left me for someone else after we were really into our relationship.
I feel it is still a grest success because I was given a beautiful gift of love, and I learned some very valuable things about myself.

area of a relationship is desirous to be with this guy or woman and spend time with them. how are you able to try this from to this point aside or quite much? additionally, with out extremely incredible out with this guy or woman on a familiar foundation how are you able to get to understand the actual them? anybody is somewhat distinctive on the telephone and on line than how they are in guy or woman. i think of you are able to fall in love with the belief of the guy via an prolonged distant or on line relationship yet i do no longer think of you are able to truly fall in love with the guy. in case you are able to no longer see the guy for who they are than i do no longer think of it would ever artwork out. So i assume interior the long-term, no i do no longer think of that the two an information superhighway or long distant relationship ought to artwork. (on the different hand in case you have a relationship and than between the human beings go away for sometime with plans on returning such because of the fact the army, military, etc... than confident I do think of it ought to artwork). additionally with on line/long distance you're constantly thinking what the guy is doing and who they are with which shows you do no longer totally have confidence them and with out have confidence you have no longer something.
