I have a very heart-shaped face,and i've always loved really short hair!Like boyish short,but still feminine.I'm really scard to go that short though.Any tips?Any thoughts on good short haircuts?

i told someone else this today... haha.
search madradhairs livejournal. and when you get there. at the topish part. it says link to photobuckets or something. go to that. and look at all those ones... ignore the colors and things. but there are some AWESOME pictures.
i always go there before i get a cut...
and a year and a half ago i had hair past my chest. and then i slowly went shorter and shorter everytime scared... but almost everytime happy. now im growing out again. but you know..
get something funky.
and something that expresses you.
you got hair. to do that with.
so dont leave it an empty slate.

do a shaggy, choppy layered cut...have the stylist know what sort of cut you want-bring a picture out of a magazine if you have to so you get exaxtly what you want...go for a longer look since when you dry and style your hair it becomes even more shorter..i think that you should try to do a Keira Knightley haircut-like in the movie "Domino".

You can cut a little at a time. It takes more haircuts that way, but at least you can have more control over it than having a drastic change all at once.

Short could do, but only short on the sides, must be long on front.

I went super short twice and LOVED it. I say go for it, it's just hair, after all.

if you've always had your hair long, they recommend going shoulder length first. If you like it then go shorter. I like layered with bangs personally.

if u do that you will regret it. that happened to me once. i got so depressed after a while. it took me 2 years to grow back. please reconsider
