I am a 13 year old boy. My voice hasn't fully matured, sorry if I sound a little like a girl. I sang a little of Carrie Underwood's "Inside Your Heaven". I have never had singing lessons (only tips) and hope to get some.

As a past voice teacher I believe you have a lot of potential. Here are my suggestions. Take deep breaths from your belly (actually your diaphram). Make sure you feel like you stomach is filling and don't let your shoulders pop up. Open your mouth to a comfortable, but wide position. Let the sound fall out of you, don't push it out. Here's the most important thing...NEVER try to sound like somebody else. Your voice is your own, unique instrument. Treat it as such! It's amazing how wonderful a voice can become when you let it mature and develop! Good luck!

you don't sound like a girl. good start, but i think you could use some professional help, especially that at this age your voice will still go through some changes. when your voice finally matures at age 16-17, you'll need different techniques.

at school there should be a singing teacher who can help you with that. you don't need hardcore singing lessons, you just need touch ups on the basics like breathing practice, solfege scales, and speaking out vowels. if you do well at those three, you can sing like whoever you want to sing. i also never had singing lessons but i've always been in a choir or small singing classes at school or short vocal clinics, and now i sing better than the average person.

I think you are very good to have never had any training or to not be matured yet to your full potential. i say yes, i like your voice & i think you have great possibilities , just follow thru & keep singing & your voice will get stronger & you will learn as you go along , the audience will teach you, if you cannot afford vocal training . but, don't give up , you are very good !! i wish i could sing that good !!

That's a good start, but you need to be your own harshest critic.
At the moment it sounds like you are singing out of your nose. Try breathing from the bottom of your lungs. This isn't that difficult. You just visualise the bottom of your lungs, and breathe.
I hope this helps.

Good start. Carry through your notes to the end, that way you will convey more emotion.

yeah you're pretty good but you might want to make your voice stronger -but that may not happen until you're mature- right now its seems kinda quiet and shaky but keep at it!
