Friends dog pisses everywhere - outside & inside the house - and he does not clean it properly. Is dog urine harmful to my health?

Yes, the chemicals are very harmful. Urine is acidic and can damage property. Ammonia, a chemical in urine, is a respiratory irritant. Meaning it's irritating your lungs.
Not to mention the germs. Many germs live in dog urine. Not healthy for humans.
Not to mention gross.
It's also his responsibility to clean up after his pet.

It is and is not if you go to the health store they should be able to tell you about a produt that neutralise's the protein in the urine so it does not kill grass or flowers .Dosen`t do any thing in your house either. No it is not harmfull to you .

that's really sad he doesn't know how to care for his dog properly.
I would say, it's not healthy.
Buy him a Dummies Guide to Cleaning up Dog Pee book for Christmas.

Woman, if your man is living in dog piss, what part of him do you kiss? I am sorry but if a man can not keep his home clean, then he does not keep his body clean enough for me either.

It's gross, but probably not harmful unless it's carrying some sort of zoonotic pathogen (like lepto). Pretty rare though.

don't listen to those other two, plain stupid. anyway i just think it's unsanitary ( trust me, i had a dog b4). it might be unhealthy if it's sick. yust try to talk to ur friend to clean it up b4 it DOES get unhealthy. b/c too many germs can harm you. godd luck!!!

Not if it is on the floor. But you may be unusually sensitive to smells and that can make you feel sick.
