Ok, I gave this girl a sonnet and she hasn't spoken to me all week (I gave it to her on friday.) So today, I go down to apologize but as I speak she says I've got to get to class (brusquesly maybe.) I say " sorry, if I offended you" and walk away. Now I don't know if she got the message because my accent is really hard to understand sometimes. Anyway, I found myself smiling as I walked away, I don't know why but I felt reved up. So, I was wondering if I should wrie her a letter saying that I don't deserve the treatment she met out to me or forget this whole thing altogether?

Forget the whole thing all together. Sometimes when people are uncomfortable they get angry at another instead of whom they should be, themselves. She wasn't worry of your attention or your sonnet, but do not lose heart. Someday you will find one not only worthy of your poems, but one that will send you ones as well.

Forget it. If she didn't thank you the next day (school day, if you only meet in school) she isn't interested. Leave her alone. Her loss.
