so that we may be prepared in and out of season- that we may have knowledge and use wisdom and discernment when making decisions- though we are a wisp in this world, we still have to live in this world- we cannot be a city on a hill if we are unaware and apathetic about what is going on around us- we cannot be salt and light if we remain ignorant and cannot function or respond in a Christlike manner to what is going on around us.

Cause current world events are like the play-by-play leading up to the end. It's coming quickly, based on the sad state of affairs of the world. He'll come like a thief in the night and we as Christians need to prepare ourselves. We need not pretend that the world isn't going to hell in a handbasket.

Because we are human and current events affects us also and we have a God given reason to pray and be conecern. Are u human and what's ur excuse? Are u not concerned or you just only concern what christians are thinking?
