I've always given my dogs table scraps, but that is being stopped as of today. My 7 year old female Rat Terrier has developed Pancreatic disease and is in the hospital as I write this. One of the biggest contributors to this disease is fatty food. Giving table scraps once in a while as a treat is OK, but be careful of allergic reactions and too much fat.

There are some things that can make your dog really sick or even kill him if you give him too much. Dogs aren't supposed to have fruits or chocolate. I would suggest to never give your dog fruit or baking chocolate because baking chocolate is worse than regular chocolate. Dogs like chocolate so if you're eating like a candy bar or something and you wanna give him some just give him a little piece but not too much. A little chocolate won't hurt him.

I have never heard that, but if you know of a certain food your dog is allergic to, i wouldnt feed him that, i also wouldnt feed him raw meat. But also remember if you give your dog table scraps its gonna be very hard to get him to eat regular dog food.

Yes, unfortunutley it is. The dyes, preservitives, and all of that it really unhealthy for your dog. It is ok. every once in a while but not to often. NEVER give your dog chocolate though, and nothing that has chocolate in it. This will kill your dog! Sorry to say though... Oh!!!!!!! and DO NOT GIVE YOUR DOGS GREENIES DOG BONES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They's ARE NOT digestable! They get stuck in your dog's intestines and block them and they WILL die because of the blockage. ABC did a program on them and after that I have done a ton of research.
I hopes this helps you some! :- )

My dog gets scraps once in a while. We found out that pork makes him sick, though. It's all trial and error. He likes Wheat Thins tremendously. We always give him leftover soup or gravy mixed in with his dry food, and he loves us for it!

I wouldn't recoommend to do so. Sometimes our food might be good for ourselves but not for other species. Imagine you eating dog food. Plus I heard that if you give them bean, it damages their coats causing it to fall. Just continue feeding him dog food.
