Don't name him anything obvious such as things having to do with his color. Fun unexpected names are a good option. I also wanted to get a dog and name him Chester. Maybe you'll like that name? Try it out and see if he likes it.

Actually, I give my pets human names. I have dogs named Martha and Becky. Give him a name like Frank or Bob. People won't expect it.

well i am from a native American descent, and i have a few you may want to consider. "Pahana"-meaning last white brother...enduring name for someone who's heart is proven to honorable in the white mans world. "Pilan" -meaning supream essence, "Bahalia" -meaning white oaks standing..very spiritual. and "Etenia" - meaning wealthy...
