Only if the staff let them treat their staff like that. Are you guys just another cog in the machine or are you people thats what you need to be asking. You could show leadership skills here!! get the staffs reaction and gett them all together with managment for a meeting and sort the problem amicably, or all go on strike out side the pub at its busiest time tellling the customers why you are doing it !! Thats only if managment wont reason.

No, there are many laws against a company being racist or sexist. People have won hundreds of thousands of pounds after taking a company to court. Even if it is another member of staff and the company lets them get away with it, they are still liable.

Racism and sexism and definitely illegal and if you follow proceedures then they are in trouble.
Write a formal written grievance to your line manager mentioning specific times of racist or sexist behaviour, if no joy then send to thier manager etc, the final resort is the company secretary. They should in return arrange a meeting to discuss the points you have raised, go away and investigate and then come to some conclusions which should involve disciplinary action of anyone who has been racist or sexist as other wise they may be seen to condone it.

absoulutley not, nobody has to work there so they shouldn't treat the workers like crap because you know they wouldn't work the pub by theirselves cause if that was the case they wouldn't own a pub they'd run one as a manager or something. give what you want to get thats what i say!!

it should be your paying them they can quit but the politically correct brigade get in the way and you lose out - they gonna ban farting in public next, trying to chat up a member of staff used to result in a boyfriend or hubby discussed it with you "intensively" in the car park not any more
