I am 12 years old and I know that a guy at school likes me and he sits next to me in science and I have liked him since last year. At our school we have a social coming up in like 22 day and I am wondering if I should go to amovie like this weekend or got to the social with him. If I go to the social it would be with everyone else around but at the movies it would be quiter and romantic. And my parents are okay with me dating my first guy.

Go to an afternoon movie and keep things nice and light. Do not push this friendship too fast. It would be ok to go to movie and out for ice cream and a talk afterwards, so you could discuss your plans for the social.
There is plenty of time to get serious about dating.
Remember, to keep everything light and friendly.
Enjoy your youth while you still can, and do not rush into the responsibilities of adulthood prematurely.

I would recommend movies and then a record store. That way you'll have tons of things to talk about. How bad and stupid was the movie, and what kind of music you both like. And of course, THEN the social.

i dont got experience but i think u should be happy talk bout stuff or just go to the movies see a movie thats fun.
