Are you kidding. A Big yes on your question. I encourage you to never smoke ever again. I quite smoking in 1986 and I was taking a shower ONE YEAR LATER and one day I could smell nicotine in the shower. I thought someone was in the house. I called my doctor right away and he told me that was not unusual at all. It took five years before my lungs were not showing black in my xrays any longer. And Yes, I gained a bit of weight but it leveled out in due time. I don't lie to myself. I could pick up a smoke today and enjoy that puppy. The difference this time is that I choose not to smoke . I don't lie and I choose not to smoke. That's the secret. Once a smoker always a smoker. That's the truth too. Keep it real and don't lie to yourself. It takes a long time before nicotine is out of your system. You will be so happy you did. I sure am. Stay real. Love yourself and love God.
Sincerely, J. (:

No the nicotine will be gone in about 3 or 4 days...a week at the most. Having nicotine in your system is not against the law..or did they change that one too?

No. It only stays a day or two.

This is a distrubing trend, though.

Maybe you should consider getting a job with a company that doesnt' feel the need to poke around in their employees urine.

No, it will be gone. Don't use nicotine replacement therapy, of course ;-) If it's for life insurance, you usually have to be nicotine free for two years.

Are you sure they're not testing for THC, and you need to stop smoking pot? I've never heard of being piss tested for nicotine.

I think you might have the wrong kind of urine test in mind, sweetie. When they ask you to do a urine test, they aren't checking for cigarette usage. They are checking for marijuana, cocaine, meth, etc. As far as I know, I don't believe that there is a test for cigarette usage. Besides sniffing your hair or clothes, that is. :)
