Can any one find any thing positive about smoking?

This is my opinion, but I think it should be banned everywhere. It's such a gross habit and destroys so many things in your body, as well as others who have to be around the smoker. It's no wonder companies say in a job listing now a days that they're looking for a NON smoker. It's costing way too much for insurances to take care of people who do this damage to theirself. Not only is it gross, but it's nasty to see the butts laying around outside. I also hate hearing on the news how house fires were started by a cigarette butt. Years ago my neighbors house caught fire because of that and his pet monkey died that he had for a long time. I also saw a question today of a lady asking if smoking hurts her dogs, should we really need to ask that? Of course it does, it's just like having a helpless child in the home inhaling all your pollution. So that's what I think.

I think smoking is a very bad thing to do. Basically by smoking people are killing themselves slowly and people who are exposed to it. A good thing has been done that smoking is banned in public buildings. In an ideal world yes smoking should be banned. It doesn't help anyone in the long run.

As much as smoking is unhealthy. It's no ones place to ban smoking. The only exception would be like dont smoke next to the childrens playground or inside a building.

It should be banned when it may hurt someone else. The thing is that it's hard for a female smoker to quit smoking for 9 months.

I personally don't think it should be banned but I also dont think others should have to suffer. I feel that smoking doesnt do anymore harm then drinking alcohol on an abusive bases. So should we ban drinking alcohol? I think what you do in your own home or car is your business.

No. People should be allowed choices, but also be considerate to those who don't choose to smoke. Like smoke outside or away from children that kind of thing.

I think it is smelly and unhealthy, and if you've never started, you shouldn't, and if you have, you should try to quit. I think that smoking in public places should not be allowed, especially in enclosed or confined places, because 2nd hand smoke is harmful too.

i think smoking is bad because it can give you cancer and kill you it is so bad for people who r addicted to it .
i think they should ban smoking cause its very harmful

Definitely. Smoking should be banned. Cigarette factories should be closed. Cigarette selling should also be banned.

I am not a smoker...but if you want to smoke then it should be your choice as long as it isn't in my house or car.
