You're never too old for long sexy hair!

"Flaunting teen tresses past 40 used to be a social no-no, worse that wearing white after Labour Day. Anything south of the jawline constitutes hair hubris. Self-respecting women didn't raise children or run large corporations with Cher hair cascading down their backsides. It wasn't just that posed a credibility problem for the over-40 crowd; it was also a matter of asthetics- nobody wants to have long locks of grey, thinning hair. But new-generation hair colour, weaves and extensions have taken care of that, so there is no longer a cut-off age for long hair. Aside from the sociological style implications of long hair, it's just simpler to take care of. That's why I'm on the cusp of 40 and growing mine. No more finicky jean Seberg cuts to maintain. And, because I live in France, no more being called "Monsieur." Now if only I could just find my toque..."

When it stops looking sexy and starts looking trashy! It all depends on the style and on the woman's face. Some women can pull it off into their 40's but they are the minority. This doesn't mean that an "older" woman must have short hair though. I think very short hair makes a 40's something look older. I'm 48, have a youthful face and wear my curly hair almost to my shoulders. A 51 year old friend of mine wears hers very long and straight with no layers. I have told her that's it's not flattering but she swears that men love it. Who knows??

A woman is never too old for long, sexy hair. Long, well cared for hair is beautiful no matter what your age. This idea that the older a woman is, the shorter her hair should be is simply nonsense.

I don't think you're ever too old. I've met women in their 50's and 60's that have beautiful longer hair. It's a matter of choice and personality. No reason why every older woman has to look like they walked into an old lady factory and came out with the traditional permed short hair cut :-)

I grew my hair all the way down to my boobs as quickly as (This took 2 years). in direction of the tip, I purely discovered it quite perplexing to maintain and the ends in many situations ended up dry mutually as my roots have been greasy. Plus, i found it very heavy. those days I actually have a growing to be out crop (I generally locate short hair much less artwork and that i believe lots extra beneficial with shorter hair). i prefer to enhance it long back so i could have coloration positioned on the below section. i think of how sturdy or undesirable long hair seems relies upon on its undertaking, decrease and length extremely than age. I say decide for it in case you prefer to... despite if i'm uncertain the way it is easy to deal with with hair waist-length or longer!

I would say above 50 but it's my opinion. Plus, it depends on your facial and body expressions. You can't pull off the hair without the right look! :D
