Try this article. E-1 is transmission system like T-1 etc. You have to use Hub/switch to get between the PC and the network.

First we have to ask your purpose. Are you trying to place an E1 (2.048Mbps) over a LAN (Local Area Connection)? or are you trying to run a LAN from one place to another over a E1 Line. There is equipment to do either one, but they are different. Take a look at
