You could go with French Vanilla...it's not white...it has a very faint hint of yellow. With the light blue bedspread it would be a nice soft contrast. You could even paint the ceiling in the same color. Then you don't have to worry about trim painting. Besides, what is the first thing you see when you wake up? For me it is the ceiling...it should be pretty to look at too! Have fun with your room!

If you like light colors, I'd go with a medium bright apple green. That way if you decide to change your bedspread, you can find lots of cute stuff to match.

Or if you're fond of blue, and like dark colors, I'd say dark navy blue.. . or white with a dark blue border.

Pink would look dumb, but lavender would look pretty cool too.

I'd stay away from red if your spread is light blue, but a deep maroon might be nice.

Oh, for heaven's sakes. You really are simple. Go to the paint store and choose a color you like that will coordinate with the infamous blue bedspread.

I think either a very pale lavendar or a light sage green. Blues, purples and greens are very soothing in a bedroom. Use these colors in accents: pillows, rugs, lamps, candles, throw...
