Yes, the Bible says every knee shall bend and every human being shall acknowledge that Jesus is Lord. However, the judgment day is too late for repentance to be of any value. Repentance must be before the judgment day for salvation to be in effect.

The thing of it is, he'd be the same Jesus. He wouldn't walk across a lake just to show off for Atheists.
If he went into a pesons house and cured someone and that was an Atheist household, that fact wouldn't impress anyone outside the household.
Other atheists would come up with other reason as to why that happened.
The always use group hypnosis as an excuse too.
If Jesus walked on water for a jury of Atheists they'd say it was mass hysteria or group hypnosis.
If they broadcast it on TV, they'd say David Copperfield did that 4 years ago.
I tried a similar question and only got one good answer from ONE agnostic.
All the Atheists said the same thing.
My questions was. If "whoose" end of times came right now and we were ALL beamed up to the Enterprise and there was God and Gabriel and Peter and a book of life and below the Earth was on fire with rivers and lakes of fire and God said to one of the Atheists
Your name is in book, you can enter heaven.
I asked what would they do.
The agnostic said, what kind of question is that, burn in fire or go through the door. I'd go through the door.
Everyone else just said the same old thing
There is no Space Daddy

NO, If he came tonight it would be the rapture, event that is exclusive for Christians. After a day or two, skeptics would ask themselves: what happened to all those silly Christians that we insult in Yahoo answers???? Then..... well you know. Some of them would believe and some don´t.
Then, all the atheists, skeptics, Tom Cruises´and Satan worshipers will have 7 years, which is the exact time that the Bible states for Jesus second coming. Then, good bye, hasta la vista BABY:

human beings will have self belief something, as long as that's what they want to have self belief. I accept as true with gadget Head, it in all probability has something to do with Religulous or Zeitgeist. there are lots of people who believed them with out question. Edit: Mithraic pupils, and with the aid of scholars I propose people who extremely have ranges interior the subject, no longer self-professed "pupils" like Acharya S, do no longer espouse the thought that Jesus is something like the Persian Mithra. There are some similarities interior the prepare of Christianity, and the prepare of Roman Mithraism (in case you squint your eyes and tilt your head after working around in circles for a jiffy, besides), yet Roman Mithraism would not predate Christianity, so that's beside the point. The Persian Mithra grew to become into born out of a rock, no longer a virgin. And he on no account died.

If Jesus came tonight his worst enemies would not be the unbelievers, but the Christians. What makes you think he is going to return in the same image he left in. And what makes you think he is not here already, in a form not recognized by people.

Some, but not all, CNN News actually has Scientist, perpared to report live about the rapture to explain it away, one is that an asteroid with unusual radioactive properties caused certain people with certain genetic properties to de-molecularize, others will hold to the idea of an Mass alien abduction, others will claim that Mother earth or Gia as the earth is referring to is cleansing the earth and so on.

hard to say, i mean when he came the first time around there was prophecy foretelling it and he wasn't acknowledged, in fact he was so intimidating he was crucified. i believe in the lord but i have had to ask myself how i would have responded back then. my concern for Christians is readying themselves for the anti-Christ by consuming gods word. not words from the pulpit. the bible, gods word. it is full of advise about false teachers. thanks for the question.

What if, instead of Jesus, Odin rides out of the clouds on his great chariot, drawn by Sleipnir, his trusty eight-legged horse? Would you look out your window and say, "Uh-oh..."?
I am not afraid of being judged, if the judgment be fair. I have tried to live an honest, honorable, and useful life, and I think I've done pretty well. I don't need to be saved from reality. I'm not afraid to face it with my head high and eyes open.

And how would the believers feel if He stepped off of a space ship when he came?
I mean, if we're talking about hypothetical fictional possibilities, why stop there?
