On Food network on Unwrapped it takes about 300 and something licks to get into the center of the tootsie roll.

Ive tried to count but I always forget and end up biting it. I dont know why I cant seem to remember I am supposed to be counting anyways im a dork. sorry I cant help u

there probably isn't a answer because who is really going to sit and count how many licks they have taken. if you are like me you get to frustrated and bite it!

i was gonna ask someone to guess how many it took me.
i just did it the other day and it took 740 licks and when i was done, my jaw was cramped beyond belief.
