The Bible is 2/3 prophecy, and half of the prophecies have already come to pass. My question is for all the athiests, agnostics, and any other religious background. These prophecies are not vague. They mention names places, dates, etc. Archeological discoveries are only strengthening the resolve of the Judeo-Christian Holy Bible. This is proof, stop denying the truth and open your eyes.

LOL
I wonder if these people know that they are actually fulfilling prophecy themselves?
I guess it is true...the best place to hide somethilng is right out in plain sight.

I shouldn't laugh, it really isn't funny...I've wondered for years myself how people could be so blind. And then I read that God Himself will send a strong delusion to those who refuse to believe the truth when they hear it...
Think about it, please...and pray for these people.

You mean like the prophecy "And he will be called Immanuel"?

So many people claim all of those prophecies were fulfilled, yet there seem to be many gaps and a lot of forced ideas to make them work.

As for Archeology, I've studied it. A lot of what it backs up is only the historical events themselves. Mainly the wars. Archeology has shown us that the million(s) of Jews that supposedly went on the Exodus from Egypt was not true. If any group left, it was nowhere near that size and it was not only Jews. History and archeology both show that many Jews (Hebrews) owned land and were merchants in Egypt, worshipping their own God in some cases, without ever bowing to Egyptian Deities.

A book that would be good for a start is The Bible Unearthed by Israel Finkelstein and Neil Asher Silberman.

Happy reading.

because most of the prophecy that was written in the bible was also told by peolpe of other religious paths long before it was writen.

because if i write down 100 predictions that are of a reasonable nature today, within 2000 years over 2/3 of them will have come true just due to chance.

because the bible does not mention exact dates and names of anything in modern history.

This question would actually be a lot more convincing if you included some examples of fulfilled prophecy and archaeological evidence.

I am a Christian, just letting you know this question seems rather vague and presumptious to non-believers...

State the prophecies and the proof before making such absurd statements.

Every thing you call a prophecy is base on vague statements that can be made applicable to circumstances infinitely.

Look at Nostradamus, nothing he wrote was true but many think his prophesies have come true... is he your prophet too?

My eyes are open, but are yours?

The Bible grew to become into written by making use of a bloke with to lots time on his palms. If we be lived each and all the Prophecies that have ever been written we would stay in a international have been no one would leave there front door a international of folk such as you that isn't a dig at you yet dig at each and all the folk who placed to lots faith in what a e book says I actual have not considered any evidence that there ever grew to become right into a Jesus or of there ever being a Devinne glory I actual have examine distinctive books that detect different fringe of religion and throws faith out the window. Books that say we are actually not on my own we are a splash international in a large pond with larger worlds than ours. And your bit with reference to the Jews i will purely say one ingredient they be stay that Jesus has no longer been yet yet Jesus grew to become right into a Jew so are we to assert that they don't be stay there on teachings or are they mendacity approximately it. and in case you want to chat approximately Jesus think of a few little fictional e book call the DA Vinci Code that e book is meant to have been written twelve months befor Dan Brown did and in it that e book states that Jesue grew to become into guy The King Of The Jews which he grew to become into. there is a lot a people who belive that Jesue grew to become right into a guy and easily a guy. in case you beleive each and all the prophecies then you definately may lead a very boring life understanding what's coming isn't a sturdy ingredient. all of it comes all the way down to decision. you could want to stay your life by making use of issues that would desire to ensue I.E destiny or you could chooes to stay your life on a on a regular basis foundation

Whether I agree or disagree with your statement, all you are doing is ranting. You need to specify to people exactly what was prophesied & prove the translation as best you can. Then you need to explain to people what you believe is the realisation of the said prophecy, what event, what people, when? Abstract ranting really convinces no-one of anything other than your obvious passion for the subject.

Prophecy is the work of Satan. Man should not know what is about to occur. The truth of prophecy seals the prophet to a life of hell if it is revealed to others who are not prophets.

As a druid, my prophecies are kept secret. My family has kept all their prophecies secret for atleast 1000 years, though has documented them for their children.

AMEN tell it like it is, They lie when they say they can`t see its happening, even those that swear they don`t believe, if their not lieing its because they have never read anything in the bible to see if its true or not. And the scientiest have to dig and dig to find, what the BIBLE has been here for years telling us, the scientest are just now finding it out, But they better hurry and tell the non believing, because this world has about went its last round before the KING returns.

I have always heard that but yet noone has come forward to explain what they are or have given any type of acceptable evidence. Words are only words from the mouth out. Many have said the world will end on dates that have come and gone in the name of christianty. We are still here. You have not presented any credibility to you statements other than your say so.
