My hair is dark brown and a couple inches past my shoulder and I'm up for cutting it if I have to but not too much... and how would i make it look emo? i already have the side swept bangs

i have pretty emo hair
mines is the same like urs
i cut a bunch of layers and make it choppy
ask for texturizing.

Emo back in the day was about being different than anyone else. Go to the Salvation Army or Goodwill to get your clothes..true emo girls do not go to the mall. Limit the amount of make up you wear. Just keep your hair simple. You dont' have to have black hair with various colors or short hair to be emo. There is really no hair guidelines for being emo. Unless your into that trendy stuff.

straight and in a low ponytail, or just straight and loose. Dark blackish-red. dont cut it.

cut your hair unevenly and dye it black, to work on the overall emo look, wear lots of black eyeliner and black clothing.
