Too dark means you're dehydrated.

Yellow/golden could mean you need more fluids especially water. You should be drinking on the average 6- 8 glasses of water a day to maintain normal hydration. Clear urine is usually a healthy sign! Peace!

The difference has to do with the amount of water in it. Urine with lots of water tend to be a pale yellow to clear. Concentrated urine, with little water, tends to be a brighter yellow. Urine can also be different colors than yellow, and that can mean disease or dietary issues.

With an basic urinary tract an infection (i.e., one that purely consists of the bladder and not the kidneys), you regularly have not have been given any fever or chills. different issues would reason dark urine: dehydration (you do no longer think of it incredibly is it) blood or blood proteins interior the urine, pigments from meals/drugs. My advice: if it is going on for a pair of days, you're able to call your ordinary practitioner and get a rapid urinalysis.

The more yellow the urine, the more concentrated it is, which means that the more yellow, the more dehydrated you are. Ideally, urine should be very clear, signifying that you are adequately hydrated.

The darker the yellow of your urine, the less hydrated you are. So
you would rather have light yellow urine because it would mean you were well hydrated compared to dark urine which means you are more dehydrated.

The darker the color...the more dehydrated you are so if it's medium to bright yellow then you need to drink more water. if it's only slightly yellow to clear then you're ok.

it has to do with how hydrated/how much water you have been drinking. as a runner, this is a pretty serious topic in my world. clear pee is perfect and means u are drinking lots of water. yellow pee, on the other hand, is not great and means you should get drinking some water!
