There are lots of so called "cures", here are a few that I know of....drink water upside down, eat sugar, hold your breath, think back without talking to the last thing you did before you had the hiccups, what were you doing? The last "cure" seems to work the best for me. Give 'em a try and see what works best for you!

Eat sugar! A study in the New England Journal of Medicine found that one teaspoon of ordinary table sugar swallowed dry cured hiccups immediately in 19 out of 20 people. Repeat it three times at 2 minutes intervals if the hiccups do not stop right away.
It has worked many times for me and my kids!

Put a spoonful of sugar in your mouth and let it melt slowly while holding your breath. Don't let out your breath until you can feel a bubble in your tummy. That's the hiccups going away.
Another thing that helps me sometimes, is to take an aspirin along with a big drink of water. Again, you have to hold your breath until you feel the hiccups bubbling in your tummy. Then you know they are gone.

You can never have enough hiccup cures...
Personally, I get a pair of ice cubes and put them on each side of my adam's apple and hold them there for about 15-30 seconds or so. I don't know why, but this ALWAYS works.

Someone told me long ago, when someone has the hiccups to ask them their middle name (no joke!) and when they answer you'll realize the hiccups are gone. I'm not kidding, I've done this mabye 7 or 8 times in the past and it failed only once. Isn't that crazy?

I mean to sound like a pervert but if you suck on something it usually makes the hiccups go away.

Hi izzy. This one always works, but you got to really do it. Hold your breath. Really suck it in and hold it. Pinch your nose even. And if you still hiccup while doing it the first few times, just immediately gulp in more air and keep doing this until they stop, which they always do. :)
