I’m so nervous, for I don’t know what’s going to happen…. We broke up almost a year ago and tried to get back together in May. It was total disaster; we ended up really badly. Even though I still love him very much, I know that we can’t be together, it just would not work out; too many awful things have happened between us, mainly because of his lack of character. We haven’t spoken since May, and our last conversation was awful, the type where you just spit your guts out; that was mainly me though. Anyhow, he keeps driving around my house and I have seen him a couple of times although I don’t think he has been able to see me. The other night, my 11-year-old son, went outside and saw him, it freaked my son out; he doesn’t understand why my ex-bf would do such thing. I don’t’ want to talk to my ex-bf so, I sent him a certified letter asking him to stop, and in a very civil way letting him know that if he doesn’t stop I will report him to the authorities. I really don’t want to do that, but he leaves me no other choice, or does he. Am I overreacting? What do you think he is going to do? Do you think I did wrong by sending him a letter? I feel like if I was in High School all over again. I’m a grown up woman with children and can’t believe this is happening to me.

You should take yourself down to the local police department and lodge a formal complaint. Then file for a EPO. This guy sounds a little scary. It may be harmless right now but could quickly escalate to a very dangerous situation! If he sees you mean business then he should back off. If he don't back off, keep your cell handy and voice your concerns to the police.

Well he must have mad feelings for you to drive by your house to see if your okay. Or maybe he was just passing through the neighborhood and wanted to see if there are any other cars there. Yes you slightly over reacted b ut only suspected because youre chilren are now involved, but maybe a phone call would be better just keep youre emotions on the low
