I only like Rick, like you said he is so into his food, he puts so much into finding the best ingredients and when he cooks you almost feel like you can smell it and taste it through the TV. I feel hungry right now.
I also love the way he goes looking around the small farms and shows how much effort is put into producing good quality food.

Jamie Oliver is an inspiration, the get up and go he has and the passion for what his talkin about and his depth of knowlege of what his talking about is tops and is a kick up the backside for anyone who is'nt living life to the full.
Rick Stein is good but his passion has lacked recentley i thinks he might be getting board with doing presenting, seems to like it then just lets his dog take over for half an hour *:)
Jamie Oliver has made a huge difference with his school dinners project and has mad our society that little bit better. Most foreigners find the British cuisine and the food we cook appauling and they are absolutley right, no one seems to want to know anything about what there eating, or just cant be bothered. I went to India recentley, the food there was out of this world, it seemed so bland when i came back here to fish and chips and procesed food.
Jamies shown us the way, one of many to do so !!!!!!!
I like the two fat blokes from Newcastle as well, they rock *:)

The French Odyssey was a great series, but I loved Food Hero's better as he found loads of great producers of quality foods. I also like Jamie Oliver, but found the Great Escape very self indulgent, as it was meant to be I guess. Never seen Safari Chef!! Jamie's School Dinners is much more interesting

Rick Stein by far. Easy to understand, wonderful dishes, very passionate and knowledgable, very natural in the kitchen. Awesome.

I like and admire Jamie Oliver as he is doing so much to get healthy food into britains schools. He is very passionate about it and against all odds really believes that it can be done.

Rick Stein is good. Jamie Oliver and his 'Mockney Cockney' act drives me mad, and I hate the sight of the lisping self-promoting twerp.

I adore Rick Stein but his recipes are quite pricey and you have to be into seafood. He is my fave though. Next is Jamie as he is so down to earth with his food and his recipes are very easy to follow.
