Yes, in Leviticus 19:28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, not print any marks upon you: I am the Lord.
1 Corinthians 6: 19&20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

When someone accepts Jesus as their savior, they give up their body to Jesus as well. It no longer is theirs' to do what they want to. They must keep is holy, for it has become the temple of the Lord. You are not to do anything to your body like that including tattoos, body piercing, smoking, drinking , drugs etc.

It was a sin for the jews because it was something the pagans did to identify themsekves with their pagan beliefs. It is not a sin for you to have one unless the piercing is in a place that will defame the name of Christ.
How To Get To Heaven
We can never be saved because of what we do; we can only be saved because of what Jesus Christ has already done for us. Let me explain.

Our greatest problem can be put in one word: sin. Sin cuts us off from God, and sin also keeps us out of heaven. But how can we get rid of our sins? We can't erase them or cause them to disappear by ourselves; we don't have the power. The only way we can get rid of our sins is for someone to come along and take them away for us.

What must you do? Simply believe that Christ has taken away your sins, and then receive Him into your heart and life. The Bible's promise is for you: "To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God" (John 1:12). Become God's child today by asking Christ to come into your life.

it is a sin, and I was foolish once to do it myself before dicovering that is was not right according to God's Word.
It says not to make any cuttings on your flesh because your body is the tample of the Holy Spirit.
I deeply now regret my piercing I had once and my permanent tattoo,but God forgave me because I am deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart and am from now on obedient to God.
