We live in Richmond, Va and he'e very picky. The only things he likes is beer and pork. He doesn't like beef, can't eat seafood and every restuarant we've been to, he doesn't like anything on the menu. How about a buffet you may ask, but its my birthday and I want to go somewhere nice! HELP!!!!!

he sounds very picky about his foods alright. you sound as selfish yourself though. spoiled even. atleast he's asking for you to pick a place to eat at. most guys just would pull up to BURGER KING or TACO BELL and tell you order what they want and be finished with it. HE GIVES YOU THE CHOICE; DINGBAT

Sounds to me he needs to make a sacrifice for you and take you where you want to go. Maybe he can order an appetizer or something. Most anywhere you go now, they have a wide variety of foods. Heck, they even serve weight watchers meals at some restaurants!! Anyway, Chili's, Applebee's, TGI Fridays... anyplace like that. Hey, how about Bar-B-Q?? Most BBQ places serve pork. Good luck, and Happy Birthday!

Well Tanya I suggest you go with some friends or family to the restuarant of your choice for your birthday. If he would like to take you out for your birthday go where he takes you. Keep in mind Tanya if marriage is in the plans I would think twice! People do not change their eating habits after marriage.

Tanya, it is your birthday. You should go where you like and let him have the grace to go with you and enjoy it because he loves you. I hate to say it, but your vision is getting badly out of focus with this guy. Picky is one thing, but this man sounds like the food nazi. If you have to go through this much trouble for your own birthday with him, what kind of life will you have in the future? Think it over very seriously.

Just go where you want to go. It's your birthday so let him suck it up. He sounds like a real pain in the rear. You can do better than this social embarrassment of a boyfriend.

Go out to a decent place and enjoy yourself, and leave your dillweed boyfriend at home with his Pabst Blue Ribbon and pork rinds. Then, when you're through, ditch that loser and find someone with good taste.

It's your birthday. Go where you want. If he's too much of a whiney little girl, too bad. He can drink a glass of water and watch you eat. It's YOUR birthday, not his. Pick whatever restaurant you want!
