Adam lived for hundreds of years- Adam and Eve had MANY children and their children had children and so forth before Adam and Eve died. You are looking at things from your own perspective and understanding- you need to understand that Adam and Eve were not cavemen- they were highly advanced and we have degenerated from there.
Why do we assume that God told Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply, Adam and Eve lived as long as they did and only had 3 kids?? Does not make a whole lot of sense.

Tip of the iceburg, my friend. Some say that the Adam and Eve bunch were the ancestors of the Israelites, but there were always Gentiles around. The next questions in this chain are: what was the mark that God put on Cain to keep people from killing him, where did Cain find a woman to marry, who are their modern decendants and so forth.
Plenty of speculation in the world, plenty of questions you could ask but never answer. My REAL answer? No one knows.

Adam and Eve had many children that the Bible don't tell us about. The main ones that we learned about was Cain, Abel, and Seth. If everything was written in the Bible we would never be able to read it all in our life time. God only allowed us to see certain things that will help us to live better lives.

yep, he was worried about being killed. not really sure about where they came from, or even how many there might be, but at that time people lived to be an average of 800 years old. not really sure if he was worried about the future generations, or just what he was talking about but obviously being fruitfull was well underway.
