Use Garnier Fructis Volumizing for Fine Hair shampoo. This should help give it strength. Dont use gel because that takes volume away. With this you should be able do do just about anything

yes it depends on face shape, but for fine hair that you want to be thicker, fuller, you need layers, and you can leave it long and have the layers cut razor style, with a sort of diagonal look or you can have layers that are more blunt and even sets of layers...but a good cut for Long, Fine hair that you want to look fuller is layers on the top that frame the face, and cut razor style with some length at the back...it can be cute...remember "The Rachel" ? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%22Rachel%22_haircut) or if short...http://www.hairfinder.com/hair_imaging.htm (the drawing of the ash blonde woman shows a cute shorter, layered cut)

It's always good to have layers when you have fine/thin hair because it helps give you volume and gives the appearance of thickness.

It depends on the face, not the type of hair. Try this website ( http://www.visual-makeover.com/face.htm) and see which face type you have. from there you can decide what you think looks best on you.
