It doesn't matter gay, straight, or bi. It is now more traditional for the person that asked the other out to pay, or to go dutch (split). It used to be for straight couples, the man would always pay, but although women do like that, they are equals and like to be treated as such. So if she were to ask you (a guy) out, she should pay, however, you should always offer.

Gay, straight, bi... doesn't matter much. It's the person who asked the other out should pay.

the person who asked should pay for the date unless you agree to go dutch -- meaning split the bill evenly.

Teh person who asked the other person out.

Date etiquette knows no gender. Which means that, technically, you girls that are asking us guys out should be picking up the tab.

Whoever asks for the date should pay, but it is not always expected. You should take money for yourself in case.

If both parties can decide or you are to nervous to say anything about. just make sure when you order to make two bills. that way one does feel obligated to pay.
