The military has just excuted a coup detat overthrowing a democratically elected but corrupted prime minster. It was a peaceful and BLOODLESS coup which seems to have not only just the backing of the majority of the masses but also a strong endorsement from the King of Thailand itself. The militay then swiftly annouced that a interim government will be installed in 2 weeks time followed by an election next year.So in the meantime the military will assume the duty of the parliament.Meanwhile ordinary people in the street goes about their normal routine as usual. The people are unfazed over the whole event, but a prevalent mood of uneasy calm still exist.

There has been a peaceful takeover by the army, to get rid of the corrupt prime minister.
The king, the most revered person in Thailand, has supported this. All the Thai citizens are happy.
There is no problem.

Read the news. There is a non-violent military coup d'etat. There has been no blood shed as far as i know. The current prime minister has been involved in shady deals...he even at one point tried to buy shares in the british soccer team Arsenal with goverment money (the peoples money) the military leaders have expressed their loyalty to the king who is only the figure head...anything could happen now but everything has gone peacefully so far.

Nothing at all. The bloodless military coup can at best be said as a corrective measure to a raucous government and opposition alike. It's akin to a heavy downpour that came to wash off the accummulated detritus in the forest floor.

No problem for the people at the moment.
Many even take pictures with the tanks and the soldiers.
