Ok a guy at my school named Kyle is shy and I had only one conversation with him it it only lasted a few seconds. He is not in any of my classes except PE which boys and girl are most of the time split up.Also theres a school dance tomarrow and I want to go with him.

So speak with him, keep him interested so that it lasts for more than just a couple of seconds. I can't guarantee you'll have him at the dance tomorrow, but maybe if things begin to look up, you can ask him, or slip it into the conversation casually. Using the dance as an opportunity to get to know him better may prove to be rather ineffective, as I'd imagine the music would be too loud to talk. But it's worth trying, so you're not stuck wondering. Good luck!

okay well heres your problem...since he is very shy and you have only had one conversation with him .. this means that you need to be the one talking to him.. if you like him enough, you have to be the one in the relationship to do most of the talking until you get to know eachother more.
In your pe class you should try and go up to him if you can, and say hi, and bring up things you have in common, and then ask if he would like to go to the dance with you. If he says no, its okay, you tried..first of all, THAT WONT HAPPEN, BUT if it does that doesn't mean you should give up. keep talking to him...and then when you guys become closer, maybe you guys can go to the next dance together.

Haha there's a school dance at my school tomorrow too.. well for grade 9's..i didnt go to it last year =(
Anyway, you should have been talking to him for a while if you knew you wanted to go to the dance with him. It'd be kinda awkward to walk up to a person you only talked once to and ask them to go to the dance with you. But then again, if you're outgoing and not shy, unlike him, go for it!! Go ask him! Opposites attract, so you never know! Outgoing, and not shy + shy= possible relationship. =)

You don't do nothing. Just be your warm compassionate self. Pretty up too. Instincts will take it from there; YOU WON'T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING !

call him up and ask him girl. he might be willing to call u up too,but with no gut. So step up and be the man. he will like u the more for it. don't bother if he turns you down...ok guys that are really really shy and daft do that.

i think you should ask him. whats to lose? he could say yes and you could have a fantastic time. or he could say no and it seems theres not a friendship there to bargain with. i think its a great idea to ask him
