Any really good tasting beer, all the beer I have drunk in London has been crap compared to the local stuff back at home. The bar staff are usually either loudmouthed aussies or some other ignorant nationality and most of the pubs could stand cleaning out.

For the famous beer of London you would have to say Fuller's 1985 or Golden Pride. but for just the run of the mill it would be Carling.

Youngs or Fuller, Smith and Turner`s London Pride. Excellent London beer...Cobra is not even British, it is Indian, delicious for sure, Guinness is a lovely drink, but it is not beer.

I'd say Youngs or Fullers. Assuming you wanted to know about beer (not lager) made in or around London. So you can't count Guiness, Carling and certainly not Cobra (although I like it)
