who I’ve known since the summer from a tennis camp. we didn’t talk at the first camp but then at the second one we did. we even kinda hung out at the pool once or twice. then when the campers went to a tennis tournament, we hung out that whole time, even though one of the girls was kinda flirting with him. I tried to just back away and let them be. but I felt as if I was competing for this boy. and now, he is at my school. okay, he IS a year younger than me, but whatever. the first day, all my friends were mesmerized. they all thought he was SO hot. it kinda bothered me though, because none of them even knew him, except two girls. one was egging everyone on and introducing them. the other girl was his neighbor, and thought this was all weird. I said hey, hows it been, you know. he was still nice. its been about five or six weeks of school now, and we rarely talk. he very briefly dated my best best friend, but then that fell apart after like three days.

now everyone wants to go out with him. and I CANT get him off my mind. its not just because I think he’s cute, which I know he is. its because he was just so funny, kind, yeah. everything you look for. I cant approach him now though, I just get all choked up and cant say anything. I passed him in the hall and tried to say hey, but instead I just STARED. I felt so embarrassed because he just looked back. the weird thing is, though, he’s not popular. okay he has a few friends, but today he was sitting by himself at lunch! I felt bad. then some other kid took him to another table. I don’t know if he has a screen name or anything. I just want to talk, like we did before, without being weird you know?

Okay question... did you start having feelings for him at camp? Or are you just feeling that way now because a lot of girls are attracted to him? We tend to get possessive over those types of things...
But if you really do like him, then try to talk to him more. If you see him sitting alone again during lunch, stop by to talk to him or sit with him. You guys got along well at camp, so you should be able to get along now... unless he completely changed since then, but I doubt he did.

It never hurts to say hey and smile at him. If he does the same to you, then hey don't feel scared to talk to him. If he just wants to be friends that should be cool. Anyways, its always nice to have a friend who is hot! lol Good Luck!

And your question is "Do I like him?" and "Does he Like Me?" Ask him to play tennis with you sometime. Find a reason to hang out him him. When you backed away, he might have assumed that you didn't like him. But it might be fate that he's in your school.

If you really want to talk to him you can go up to him and then start a convo like old times. Im sure he'll start talking back and you'll get to talk to him again.

Just be normal like nothing happened and once you get comfortable around him again...just tell him how you feel. It's worth a try.

If you are that desparate then just get the courage up to talk to him. Next time you see him alone dont feel bad. go up to him. we all have our problems. but we also have to fix them.
