Do you really own your computer, your food, your car, your phone number, your body, your soul?

What do you really own?

Time? Land?

For me, I own my thoughts. Choices I make have consequences, etc. Still own decision making capability.

Really? And just how much of your own thoughts are truly your own? Aren't you influenced by advertising, rumors, your own parents? Haven't your thoughts been cultivated and controlled by the media and the educational system? Haven't you ever made a choice that you would rather not have made? Haven't you ever had an idea that someone else also had? Think about it.

The only thing I believe I truly own is myself which is a compilation of all the experiences of my lifetime. The rest could come and go but that I will always have.
