no my husband is on a very unusual drug regime and we can not be left without any meds for even a day so about two weeks before his prescription is due in we have to order it for the doctor to print off, and sign the script and then inform the chemist that his meds are due within thin the next few days so he has time to order it in from his suppliers. We have a right carry on with this every month and we are lucky we have this wonderful chemist others in our area refused to order the drug as it is so expensive as it is very rare so we were going to have to travel over 50 miles to his hospital who specialise in his condition to get his meds, but then we found this chemist over 10 miles away which is easier than 50. I always believed that a pharmacist can make any sort of meds but that is not the case as we found out.

No, of course not. There are thousands of legal prescription drugs in the U.S., and you can't expect a pharmacy to have them all. If a pharmacy does not normally carry a drug, it can normally get the drug within a week.

No, mostly they order stuff from their wholesaler or even the manufacturer. They stock popular drugs and drugs that may be needed in an emergency like morphine.

No, they only carry what their customers most frequently use. They will get other medicines on an as needed basis
