If the Bible study is "killing you", then perhaps you should take up another hobby. From your later additions, I wonder if you are actually in any "bible study" at all, or are perhaps just posting insincere "questions" as a form of mockery.
The Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ is an important point of our faith. Jesus could have no physical father: it would have made him share in the mutated sin-nature that other men all share at birth. This would have made it impossible for Jesus to become the atoning sacrifice we all needed, to be reconciled to God.
Just because Mary and Joseph of Nazareth belonged to a Bronze/Iron age culture, does not indicate that these people (and those who came after them) had no knowledge of sexual reproduction. THEY ALL KNEW THAT SEX MAKES BABIES. For Mary to claim to still be a virgin, and yet be pregnant, would mean only one of 3 things (in her time):
1. She was lying. A simple physical examination would have determined this! There were women who could confirm (or not) Mary's claim of virginity. Once this was done, and she was found NOT A VIRGIN, she faced the death penalty, either by stoning or by fire (for cheating on Joseph), or a forced marriage to the baby's father. (It can be assumed that Joseph was NOT the father of her child, for the first thing Joseph considered was a break of engagement. He was not responsible for her condition.)
2. Mary had been raped, and was delusional. This happened a lot back then, same as it does today. Isreal was an occupied country, and those Italian boys didn't always behave themselves. Mary would not have faced the death penalty for being pregnant by rape, BUT, she could not have claimed virginity either! The fact that she did, would indicate insanity after the attack (assuming there was one). Mary's sanity could be called into question, but there would have been other breaches with reality, and these would have been noticed. Joseph's actions here are telling; apparantly he had decided to break off his marriage to Mary. This would be logical behaviour if Mary was an insane, pregnant survivor of a violent rape. The fact that he went through with the marriage shows that something (or someone) changed his mind. Mary wasn't insane, and still claiming virginity.
3. Mary was telling the truth. She had experienced NO sexual intercourse, either with or without her consent, and yet was pregnant. Furthermore, she claimed to have recieved an angelic visitation (again, without intercourse, unlike the Pagan "visitations" of Greek and Roman culture) explaining her physical condition. These visitations were rare, but not unheard-of in the Jewish culture. Such a visitation would have left an imprint on Mary's psyche, that no amount of threats or "psychoanalysis" could erase. Since the Jews (and Christians also) believe that God created the visible universe with His WORDS, it is not impossible to consider that God could encapsulate Himself into a rapidly-growing child, held in a mother's womb.
Christians believe option 3.
Only the absolute "God doesn't exist, miracles don't really happen" viewpoint, says the last option is impossible. Stretch your mind a little; there is a lot of the universe we don't even know about yet. Why would this be impossible?

*chuckle* This isn't brainwashing - it's faith. This is a Catholic view I'm about to share, but it should do the trick.
Jesus is divine, meaning that he is God. 100%, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. But Jesus is also 100% human. This is a mystery and something that can only really be defended by faith-based philosophy and theology. If Jesus had two human parents, how can anyone say he is God? I mean, heck, *I* have two human parents - can I be God too?
So the belief around the virgin birth is this - Mary was a virgin to "prove" that this was not a simple act of procreation. Yet other than the conception, she had a normal pregnancy and birth just like any other woman. Likewise, other than his conception, Jesus was formed and birthed just like any other human.
Jesus had an earthly "father" - Joseph, Mary's husband. Joseph took Mary into his house and accepted Jesus as his own child. As a little boy, Jesus probably understood Joseph to be his "daddy" just like most kids. As he grew and matured, he became aware of his special connection to God the Father and his mission on earth.

Mary was a virgin because she did not have sex when Jesus was conceived. The fact that she gave birth does not affect her virginity. But the Bible says that Jesus had other siblings (Matthew 12:46), so Jesus' birth was the only one requiring a miracle.

She was a virgin. She never had sex before Jesus was born. Jesus was born of a virgin conceived of the Holy Spirit.
Everyone else is born with sin nature so sin. The Saviour had to be born like the first Adam before sin, so needed to be born of a virgin. Jesus could have sinned. He was tempted like the first Adam, yet without sin. If He had sinned, He would not have been the sinless Lamb of God, & He would not have risen from the dead. Death could not keep Him in the grave because He was without sin.
The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.
Salvation is received by faith in Jesus Christ, Son of God, Lord & resurrection.

Don't you think God who created everything can just make a virgin pregnant !!!!
We are talking about God who has all the powers....
His father was Joseph.. as he was married to the virgin Mary...
Mathews 1:18-19 "18 ¶ Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily."

The book of Matthew 1 has your answer in your Bible.
God appointed Mary to have this child that is known to us as Jesus the savior. Joeseph was to wed Mary even though he was not the biological father. He wasnt going to wed her at first but God told Joeseph to wed and to take care of Mary and the baby. There was no sex. I hope this answers your question.

Heavenly Father was Jesus' dad (spiritually and physically). No one really knows the details of how that happened, but I assume it was some form of artificial insemination - miraculously done.

properly, insemination and giving start are 2 thoroughly distinctive acts that initiate and end, respectively, one somewhat longish technique. So, on an identical time as insemination does no longer describe this actual start, man made looks like a superb suited be conscious here.

It's called diploid parthenogenesis. It happens in animals and is thought to happen in humans as well. How then did Jesus get that "Y" (male) chromosome? Mary might have been XXY, not XX like most women.
