Golden yellow, or butter yellow. Use the Woolie paint roller with two colors. I think rooms painted dark colors need extra window light to be pulled off correctly (like giant double story windows) painting in a light or bright color will enhance those dark couches.

I would choose a buttery-gold to warm up the room. Anything too light (like white or cream) would look stark against the dark couches and anything too dark (hunter green, burgandy) will make the room too dar. Be very careful and be sure to do a sample area first. Yellows, more than any other color, INTENSIFY when on the walls.

At home we have dark green couches. We tried a bunch of different samples and decided on a brownish beige. I'd say anything in the earthtones and something subtle and not too dark! Good luck!

Just a few...Taupe & French Vanilla come to mind. Either one would soften the dark green and add contrast. Good accent colors for pillows and throws...Burgundy, Celadon Green, Gold and Chocolate Brown. What color is your floor? Sometimes I go to furniture websites and look at pictures of the rooms that have furniture similar to what I am working with and get ideas on color from the decor they chose for their ad.

Your standard Magnolia Matt Emulsion for the Walls,
White Gloss For the Paintwork.
Pick the Green out on the Mountboard of your pictures.
Don't use chrome accessories.use gold coloured lamps etc.
To warm it up use the odd bit of gold in the soft furnishings.

I'd say just plain white or a beige/tan color. In our living room we have dark beige walls and light beige and green couches, with green curtins. it looks pretty good. hope i helped!

Depends how daring you are! Anything from dark cranberry and wines to light shades of tans, browns, beiges. I wouldnt go with a same shade of green as it can overpower your room.

You have some great options. If you want to brighten the atmosphere use a suede color and chocolate curtains. Add some pillows with texture and design for some visual interest.

I think terra cotta would look great, particularly if you have some occasional furniture (footstool, chair) or pillows that have both the terra cotta and the dark green in them.
