The night before we need to fill up on carbohydrate. The muscle stores much of that and releases it the next day. Anyhows pasta is great and many others. During the athletics we need more easily digestible carbohydrates [sugars]; fruit juice is still a world classic and brilliant. Also try creatine [it's the agent that takes fuel to the muscle].

You should eat a high carb meal the night before and lot's of water to stay hydrated. At half-time, gatorade is good to replace the electrolytes in your system to maintain hydration and energy.

I've played soccer all my life, and carbs I heard are the best. Spaghetti and things like that will give you the energy to play.

Drink gatorade, powerade and/or vitamin water. All three taste sooo good and I have found that I feel more energetic when I drink these.
